Herb Details
Here are some ways each of these herbs have been used by indigenous communities of the Andes region of South America and what scientific research has found:
Flor Blanca- Used traditionally by the indigenous people from the Andes of South America to address digestive and reproductive system disorders. In Ecuador, it is used to address vaginal yeast infections, ovarian cysts, swelling of the prostate gland and liver cleansing.
Fig Leaf – Scientific research has proven that fig leaf has the ability to increase sperm count in men. Several studies also indicate it contains anti-diabetic and tumor combatting properties. In Ecuador it is combined frequently with Flor Blanca for reproductive system cleanses.
Calendula - Within the Andean region, indigenous communities have traditionally harnessed the therapeutic powers of calendula to address various areas of the body including reproductive organs, skin, digestive health, respiratory support, postpartum care and fertility. Clinical studies highlight Calendula’s effectiveness at addressing skin issues such as acne, dermatitis and eczema.
Together, the properties in all three of these herbs may help alleviate menstrual pain and prostate inflammation, address ovarian cysts, combat reproductive organ infections, target uterus inflammation, boost fertility, cleanse skin cells, inhibit tumor growth, regulate blood sugar, fight yeast infections, and cleanse the digestive tract.
