    Herb Details

Here are some ways each of these herbs found in The River of Life blend have been used by indigenous communities of the Amazon and what scientific research has found:

Chuchuhuasi - Its most common uses amongst the native people of the Amazon is as a natural pain reliever, specifically toward rheumatism-related diseases. Clinical studies highlight its ability to increase blood circulation throughout the body and address sexual impotence, as well as regulate menstrual disorders. Chuchuhuasi is well known amongst the native tribes of the Amazon for being iron-rich and providing energy boosting properties.

Sarsaparilla – Studies show it can address kidney/adrenal fatigue and liver detoxification which is why it is was used in ancient times to target skin and blood-related disorders.

Palo Guaco – Scientific research shows it contains muscle relaxant properties which potentially promote better oxygen flow to the body and may improve respiratory and lung conditions. Studies also show Palo Guaco has the ability to generate an anticoagulant effect due to the amount of coumarin it contains, a compound which potentially thins the blood.

Together all three of these barks may address lung and blood purification, arthritic-related pains, regulation of blood pressure, addressing low iron, increasing libido and more.
