What is Kawsaypac?

Kawsaypac is the herbal line of The Electric Eats, created by Raisa and Brian. They began traveling through the Ecuadorian Andes and Amazon in 2022, spending time with Indigenous communities, traditional healers and Kichwa elders, and moved to Ecuador in 2025. The products reflect what they learned from those communities. Read the full account on Our Story.

The Electric Eats is also known for plant-based recipes, ebooks and Ecuador wellness retreats. This page is about the herbs.

Where does Kawsaypac source its herbs?

The herbs are sustainably wild-harvested, never irradiated and sourced directly from the Indigenous communities and families who steward the plants, without middlemen, so the people who preserve this knowledge are paid directly. Our Amazonian herbs (guayusa, cat's claw, chuchuhuasi, soursop) come from the Ecuadorian Amazon, and our Andean herbs (matico, valerian, tipo) from the Ecuadorian Andes. Some ingredients in the blends, such as senna, licorice, ginger and elderberry, come from other regions and are labeled that way. See Amazonian herbs and Ecuadorian herbs.
